Overview

VoltSafe’s internal integrated circuitry maintains the plug in a power-off mode until a fully-secure connection with the pedestal is established. This means, the plugs will only turn on once the outlet recognizes an exact electrical signature from its counterpart which occurs in less than five milliseconds once the two sides are fully connected.
So, if the plug is accidentally dropped in the water, it's not going to pop all the breakers or electrocute anyone. This level of unprecedented safety ensures both marina operators and boaters alike have confidence knowing there are safety levels near that of the aerospace sector in place.
VoltSafe is working with stakeholders across Europe and North America to develop the new marine-specific standard for charging infrastructure.

VoltSafe tech can be scaled to Level 3 Fast-Charging and can incorporate communications pins.
"At VoltSafe, we are creating a connected marina ecosystem. Our vision extends far beyond just shore power connectors. We are committed to delivering the safest, most dependable, and user-friendly shore power experience, future-proofing marinas in anticipation of evolving boat technology. This advancement will streamline the lives of marina owners and managers, making marina operations more efficient, secure, and cost-effective."

VoltSafe is a proud member of the Pacific Coast Congress of Harbormasters & Port Managers. PCC's members realize that no matter how large or how small a marina or port is, the problems and the underlying causes are the same — some just have to deal with them on a larger scale. The PCC provides the opportunity for members to share experiences, problems and their solutions, and for hands-on education and networking. VoltSafe's goal is to join the conversation and shed some light on improving antiquated marine shore power for PCC's membership ports and marinas in Alaska, California, Oregon, Washington in the United States, plus in our home province of beautiful British Columbia, Canada.
